Settings → Agents shows what each of Frontic’s agents - Studio, the Experience Designer, and Buddy - is told about your project. It has one entry per agent, labelled Studio, Designer, and Buddy, and opens on Studio. Each entry shows that agent’s two documents:
  • Prompt - how the agent works in this project: its voice, its priorities, and what it must never do.
  • Rules - what the agent knows about this project: business context, terminology, and the rules every session applies.
Each agent has its own pair, so the three can diverge. Studio’s pair is the Studio Prompt and Project Rules, and the Designer’s is the Designer Prompt and Designer Project Rules. Buddy’s pair is described in How Buddy knows your business.

Who writes them

Context Setup, which is in Preview, writes all six documents from your storefront and switches them on. A document Context Setup hasn’t written yet says so. The documents are read-only here: you can read them, but not type into them, and each one’s Active switch is locked. An inactive document is shown dimmed. To change a document, ask an agent in chat - Studio, the Experience Designer, or Buddy. Each can read and rewrite the prompt and rules of all three agents. It asks you to approve every change, unless you’ve switched its chat to Skip approvals, and the new text applies from that agent’s next session. Your role needs permission to edit that agent’s settings. An agent can switch a document on, but not off. To switch one off, ask Frontic support.
Rules that should reach every agent at once - your styleguide, tone of voice, product domain - belong in Context Base rules, not in one agent’s Rules.
